About Your Provider
Rowan Baker, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in general dermatology, seeing patients at Charlotte Dermatology's Matthews office and 7th Street office in Charlotte, NC. Rowan's clinical interests include skin cancer screenings, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, warts, and the management of a wide range of dermatologic conditions, with a strong focus on preventative skin care. Patients appreciate Rowan's attentive, personalized approach to every visit, taking the time to explain conditions clearly and build care plans that fit each patient's life.
Rowan earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University Brooklyn and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from North Carolina State University, with minors in Nutrition and Forensic Science. Rowan is currently completing specialized fellowship training with Charlotte Dermatology to deepen expertise in medical dermatology, and is active in community service and mentorship, supporting local health initiatives and guiding aspiring healthcare providers.
A Charlotte native, Rowan is glad to care for the community as a hometown provider. Outside the office, Rowan enjoys baking, reading, hiking, exploring new restaurants around town, and spending quality time with family.
