About Your Provider
Sam D’Alessandro is a board-certified and dedicated dermatology physician assistant (PA-C) specializing in general dermatology. She treats a variety of conditions, including acne, warts, rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema. Sam enjoys caring for patients of all ages, including young children. She also has a strong interest in preventive skin cancer surveillance and the surgical excision of skin cancers.
Originally from just outside of Boston, Sam has called Charlotte home since 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University on Long Island. Sam has practiced dermatology throughout her entire PA career and earned the NCCPA Certificate of Added Qualifications in Dermatology in 2023.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys traveling, skiing, and spending time with her husband, daughter Dylan, and their dog, Nellie. She’s an avid sports fan—especially of football and hockey—with a particular love for the Boston Bruins.
