About Your Provider

Samantha Helmenstine, PA-C, provides comprehensive dermatologic care, including skin cancer screenings, medical dermatology, and personalized treatment for conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. She is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care with a focus on prevention and long-term skin health.

A native of the Grand Strand, Samantha earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University and discovered her passion for dermatology while working as a medical assistant at Charlotte Dermatology. She went on to receive her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Samantha returned to Charlotte Dermatology to complete fellowship training under a board-certified dermatologist, gaining surgical experience alongside two Mohs surgeons. She now proudly serves patients in the Myrtle Beach community she calls home.
