Consistency wins in the end, but General Terrence Adams USAF once told me, 'Anyone can win when things are going your way, but the mark of a true champion is to come from Behind.'
Gary B. Slaughter, Jr., MD
About Your Provider
Dr. Slaughter has been in practice for over 25 years. Board-certified since 2003, he transformed a low-performing, antiquated dermatology practice with three providers in two offices into one of the premier practices in the Carolinas, with over 20 providers across nine offices in two states. He was voted Top Doctor for 2023-2024, as featured in Charlotte Magazine.
In addition to his dermatology career, Dr. Slaughter is also a corporate pilot. He began his flying career in the late 1980s under the mentorship of the Tuskegee Airmen’s “Chief Anderson.” Later, he received national awards for his volunteer work transporting severely ill children to medical appointments. With over 7,500 hours accumulated in 15 different aircraft, even retired airline captains remark, “Gary, you’ve logged a lot of time in the cockpit being a doctor!”
