Haibo Cheng is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in both general and surgical dermatology, providing comprehensive care for a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions. His clinical interests include treating rashes, skin cancers, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, warts, molluscum and pediatric skin concerns. Whether you're dealing with a common issue or a more complex condition, Haibo is dedicated to guiding you through diagnosis and treatment with expertise, compassion, and care.
Haibo was born in Sweden and spent most of his life in Maryland before relocating to North Carolina in 2020. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and obtained his Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the Duke University School of Medicine. Haibo has devoted his entire career to dermatology—beginning with six years of experience as a medical assistant before graduate school and continuing into his current professional practice.
When he's not playing pickleball, Haibo enjoys cooking, baking, rock climbing, hiking, and fishing along the many trails and lakes in the Charlotte area.
